Good day with respect to papers. Thuy has spent several sleepless nights and the result is everything is done. We have been with our officially translated documents to the Canadian Embassy (which unlike the consulate in HCMC is a guarded secure building where we needed an appointment and visitor passes just to get to a small window 10 steps inside the main gate). Thuy has sent our citizenship documents to Singapore. So now we wait and enjoy our new daughter and the lunar New Year celebrations, but so far our expected return date looks reasonable.
As for Cam Tu things are still tough. She wants to spend all of her time attached to Maelle unless there is another Vietnamese female in her sight line. She did sleep well though. She eats a little bit of everything. She still screams in terror every time she is left alone with me, though. She did seem to enjoy our walk through the busy streets from the embassy to our hotel.
Noah is doing quite well considering. He is jealous but better than expected.
Hopefully we will have some nice pictures to show from our trips around Hanoi in the coming days.
